President Masum Congratulates for the full liberation of the district of Hawija

H.E. Dr. Fuad Masum the President of the Republic congratulated the Iraqi people and the entire world on the liberation of the Hawija district in all its aspects from the control of the terrorist gangs, and saluted the leaders, officers and soldiers of our armed forces for their heroism and efficiency and their efforts in achieving this historic victory, which culminated today in the elimination of the terrorist remnants in the district, praising the heroism and sacrifice of all its formations.
While President Masum stressing the determination of Iraq to move forward towards the final elimination of terrorism and the return of displaced people and the reconstruction of all liberated areas, praising the role of the international coalition and the support of friendly countries and peoples in defeating the criminal gangs of ISIS, as well as pay special attention to the families of the martyrs and the treatment of the wounded and the protection of civilians and displaced persons.

“We congratulate our dear Iraqi people and the entire world for liberating the district of Hawija in all its aspects from the control of terrorist gangs, we also salute the commanders, officers and soldiers of our armed forces for their combat skills and their dedication to achieving this historic victory, which today culminated in the elimination of the terrorist remnants in the areas of the district, and we commend the heroism and sacrifices of all its formations and reaffirm our firm determination to move forward towards the total eradication of terrorism without stop, and the return of displaced persons and the reconstruction of all liberated areas.
While appreciating the role of the international coalition and supporting friendly countries and peoples in defeating the criminal gangs of ISIS, we call on the concerned authorities to pay special attention to the families of martyrs, and to treat the wounded and to protect civilians and displaced persons.”
