President Barham Salih Arrives in Baghdad After a Fruitful Visit to Turkey

President Barham Salih arrived in Baghdad coming from Ankara, today, Friday, January 4, 2019. 
The President had visited Turkey on top of a governmental delegation at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
His Excellency had held fruitful talks with the Turkish President focused on enhancing bilateral relations, expanding horizons of joint cooperation, and discussing the lingering dossiers and issues between the two countries and the need to find radical solutions to them. 
President Salih and the Turkish President exchanged views on the developments and events taking place in the region.
On the sidelines of his visit to Turkey, His Excellency also had met with Mr. Ben Ali Yildirim the Turkish Parliament Speaker and discussed with him means of consolidating bilateral relations and the expanding scopes of cooperation between the two friendly countries.
the delegation accompanying President Barham Salih included Mr. Mohammed al-Hakim the Foreign Minister, Mr. Mohammed Hashem Abdul Majid the Minister of Trade, Mr. Jamal al-Adli the Minister of Water Resources, Mr. Faleh al-Fayadh the National Security Adviser and a number of officials and advisers.
