President of the Republic Receives South Korean President's Adviser for Foreign Affairs

H.E. President of the Republic Dr. Barham Salih stressed the need to develop relations between Iraq and South Korea at various levels to serve the interests of the two friendly peoples.
 His Excellency, during his reception to the South Korean President's Adviser for Foreign Affairs Mr. Han Pyeong-do and the delegation accompanying him, at the Presidential Office in Baghdad, on July 1, 2019, He pointed out the importance of relations with Korean friends and its historical depth and the effective role of the Korean government and its companies in building and rebuilding the country, chiefly in the liberated areas, and the importance of benefiting from the Korean experience in building Iraq.
For his part, Mr. Do conveyed the South Korean President's salute to His Excellency President Salih as well as his satisfaction for continuing cooperation between the two countries. 
During the meeting, they discussed regional and international situations and the contribution of Korean companies in developing the country's infrastructure at various levels, chiefly in the fields of oil and energy.
