President Receives UN's Hennis-Plasschaert, Russia's Ambassador, European Union Ambassador to Iraq
President Salih Received separately today at the Presidential Palace in Baghdad, Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations for Iraq, Ms. Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, European Union Ambassador, Mr. Martin Huth and Russian Ambassador to Iraq Mr. Maksim Maksimov as well.
During the meeting, international support which would promote security, stability and reforms in the country was deliberated. The ways of upgrading bilateral relations so as to serve the common interests have been also discussed.
Recent political developments at the regional and international levels have been reviewed.
