Iraqi President Salih Receives Condolences Cables from Kings, Presidents and Emirs over the Fire Erupted in Ibn Al-Khatib COVID-19 Hospital


On Sunday, April 25, 2021, the President of the Republic of Iraq Barham Salih received a cables of condolences and sympathy from the Kings, the Presidents and the Emirs over the fire that broke out at Ibn Al-Khatib COVID-19 Hospital in Baghdad, in which scores of individuals have lost their lives.
In a phone call with Iraqi President Barham Salih and that was initiated by the Egyptian President, Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi offered condolence to the Iraqi over this tragic incident.
 President El-Sisi asked the Most High for all the deceased to rest their souls in peace and eternity. He wished a speedy recovery for all those who were injured. Furthermore, he emphasized that Egypt and its people stand by Iraq in this tragic incident.
Iraqi President Barham Salih received cables of condolences from His Majesty King Abdullah II, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and  the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq Al Said and Kuwait’s ruler His Highness Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khalid al-Hamad al-Sabah and His Highness the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Thani Deputy Emir of the State of Qatar and Lebanese President Michel Aoun, Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
In the cables, they expressed their sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and to Iraq, the leadership, government and people.
They wished God's blessings to the souls of the victims and patience for their families, wishing a speedy recovery for all the injuries and extended a message to all Iraqis, wishing them progress and prosperity. They wished God's blessings to Iraq and saving its people from all the harm.
