Iraqi President Receives Two Cables of Condolences from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud

The President of the Republic of Iraq, Barham Salih received two cables of condolences from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense over the deadly incident that occurred at Iraqi COVID-19 hospital Ibn Al-Khatib in Baghdad.
In the cable, the Saudi Monarch said that, " We have learned with deep sorrow the tragic news about the deadly incident, in which the fire erupted at the Iraqi COVID-19 hospital in Baghdad, and resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries.
We express our sincere condolences and our deepest sympathies to your Excellency, to the families of the victims and to the fraternal people of Iraq.
We pray to Allah the Almighty to rest the soul of the deceased persons in eternal peace, and our thoughts and prayers are with the victims' families.
We pray that those injured will recover quickly, and pray to Allah for blessing Iraq and saving its people from all harm."
In the cable, the Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, said that," Our hearts hurt deeply from having to hear the tragic news about the fire's incident that occurred at Ibn Khatib hospital in Baghdad and resulted in the deaths and injured scores of Iraqi citizens.
HRH the Crown Prince expressed heartfelt condolence and sympathy to His Excellency President Salih and to the families of the deceased persons. We pray to the Almighty for the deceased persons' eternal rest in peace and we wish the injured to feel better soon."
