President Salih Meets Venezuelan Ambassador to Iraq
On Monday, May 9, 2022, the
President of the Republic of Iraq, Braham Salih met with the Venezuelan ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Arturo Anibal
Ramirez. The meeting took place at al-Salam Palace in Baghdad.
Iraqi- Venezuelan ties were discussed during
the meeting and how best to enhance these relations across every level in a way
that serves the interest of both nations' ties.
Regional and international developments
in addition to the issues of common concern were also discussed.
The Venezuelan Ambassador expressed his
country's commitment to supporting security and stability in Iraq and
emphasized Venezuela's eagerness to further develop ties with Iraq.
